LANDCORP VISIT PHCCI

On Tuesday March 9th Dr. Ben Killigrew from Landcorp met with Executive Committee Members to announce the release of 19 lots in Wedgefield, for the specific purpose of commercial industry development.
Dr. Killigrew also updated the committee members on the progress of the South Hedland Town Centre and reminded everyone that Expressions of Interest for Lot 21 will end on Tuesday March 16th.
He also explained the process behind releasing land in Port Hedland and answered questions from the committee members regarding how the PHCCI could help speed up the process to help small to medium businesses.

Elected Executive Committee Our Executive Committee comprises of local business people dedicated to dealing with local issues on a voluntary basis. The Committee meets monthly to review and oversee the Chamber’s operations and determine its future in the interests of all members.
Our Objectives
- To watch, protect and promote trade and commerce in Port Hedland.
- Undertake projects that will benefit the Port Hedland business community.
- Advocate for and provide a voice for local small business in relation to government regulation, policies and charges.
- Provide networking opportunities amongst members and between local, state and commonwealth governments.
- Assist in the provision of adequate training and presentations relevant to member businesses.
- Increase the profile of member businesses by acting as your marketing partner.
- Encourage the Port Hedland business community to promote strategic alliances and a buy local attitude.
