Therese Anderson - As co-owner of local business, Foxman Electrical, I am aware of many of the issues facing our local business community. As an active PHCCI Committee member for 3 years, President since June, I have a good working knowledge and understanding of the PHCCI activities and projects, which I am passionate to forward, while working together on new innovations to better assist you, our members. It is this passion and experience that I bring to the PHCCI President position, to greatly benefit you, our Business Community, should I be elected for the 2017 term. Please have your say with your vote.

Jim Henneberry – I am a current member of the PHCCI board and own a local real estate agency. This is my second year in Port Hedland and I acknowledge that the resource sector is of paramount importance to this region. I believe now we need to empower ourselves in order to diversify our region to create more business opportunities, employment and population growth which in turn will benefit all Chamber Members.

Patrik Mellberg - I have lived in Port Hedland for 14 years. Having worked for BHP Billiton Iron Ore for over 8 years in various Management positions in the Community area of the business, my current role is as Lead Community (Port Hedland) for BHP Billiton. I am a passionate community member and volunteer with significant experience leading and/or participating on boards and committees across Education, Community/Sporting and Industry groups. I have been an active PHCCI Committee Member since 2012. I desire to see the Chamber continually improve and increase its services and support to members. The business incubator is one such project that presents an exciting opportunity for the Chamber moving forward.

Kylie Rogerson - I am one of the Directors at Phoenix Security, Training & Events Group. My main role in the company is to manage and coordinate events within the Pilbara. I am very passionate about creating tourism and bringing top class events to the people in the Pilbara. I look forward to being involved in the chamber next year to be a part of the incubator project being built and up and running as this is something that is greatly needed to help support small business in the greater Hedland area.

Adrian Hatwell - I am the Managing Director of E Commz Communications and Security, whilst employing local staff I have managed to build a successful business servicing the Pilbara with communications and security needs. I have strong connections to the Port Hedland community currently holding position of chairman of the board of Port Hedland Primary School, a long term volunteer with the Hedland SES and held leadership positions such as Deputy Manager and Manager. I would like to be involved with the chamber to help support local businesses succeed and support initiatives that the chamber are currently rolling out.

Katie Evans - For the past four years I have been an integral leader within the Port Hedland creative community. Through my role as Regional Programs Coordinator for the Courthouse Gallery, I have guided the growth of the West End Markets and associated online directory as an alternative retail platform for makers, and facilitated professional development opportunities for microbusinesses and local creatives. As a member of the Chamber of Commerce, I will be representing the creative industries organisation FORM, and strive to provide local creative small businesses the opportunity to build their skills, grow their business and reach a wider audience.
