Hedland’s Big Pitch is a PHCCI initiative designed to support bold, innovative business ideas that enhance local services, boost liveability, and create employment opportunities.
Objectives of the Competition
PHCCI is committed to supporting the most promising business ideas emerging in our region.
Hedland’s Big Pitch is both an educational and cash-incentivised program, designed to fast-track the skills, knowledge, and growth of our aspiring entrepreneurs — creating long-lasting benefits for both individuals and the wider Hedland community.
To be eligible, your business must be registered and Hedland-based, and your idea must align with at least one of the following key priorities for the Hedland community.
- Responds to an identified economic need in Hedland
- Enhances liveability and quality of life in the region
- Generates new local employment opportunities
- Drives innovation or supports the local technology sector
10 Contenders will be selected to take part in a tailored business readiness program and a Live Pitch Night to determine finalists
The Top 3 finalists will pitch their ideas live at the 2025 Hedland Economic Forum.
The winner of the 2025 Hedland’s Big Pitch will receive $20,000 to bring their idea to life.
