Applications for Hedland’s Big Pitch 2026 are now closed, and this year’s successful applicants are officially underway.

 

Hedland’s Big Pitch is an emerging business competition delivered by the Port Hedland Chamber of Commerce and Industry and proudly supported by our Principal Partner, BHP. The program gives local entrepreneurs, startups and existing businesses the opportunity to develop their ideas, strengthen their business skills and put their pitch to the test.

 

This year’s successful applicants are currently progressing through the Business Readiness Program, with tailored mentoring, coaching and professional development to help refine their business plans and prepare them to pitch.

 

What happens next?

• Successful applicants will present their ideas to a judging panel at Pitch Night, where the Top 3 finalists will be selected
• The Top 3 will progress to the Hedland Economic Forum, pitching live on stage to an audience of business leaders and decision-makers
• The Hedland Economic Forum audience will cast their votes to determine the 2026 Hedland’s Big Pitch winner
• The winner will receive $20,000 to help bring their idea to life

 

We wish all of this year’s contenders the very best as they progress through the program and prepare for Pitch Night. We can’t wait to see their ideas come to life and find out who will make the Top 3.
