Pilbara Summit 2022
Our team were in Karratha last week, attending the Pilbara Summit with almost 600 delegates travelling to the Pilbara for this annual event.
Over the two days, our team heard from a fantastic lineup of speakers who addressed the challenges that the region is currently facing, the state of the economy, upcoming projects, new innovative technologies and the push towards a net-zero environment through decarbonisation. Collaboration and partnerships were a key themes discussed throughout the two-day summit and the importance of working together for the betterment of the region.
Port Hedland Chamber of Commerce & Industry CEO Claire Boyce represented our local members by speaking on a panel consisting of the Pilbara regional chambers. This panel addressed common challenges that our members and local businesses are facing across all of the Pilbara towns. The panel also spoke of how members and local businesses can go to their chambers in each town for assistance with making the right connections.
Overall it was a great opportunity for businesses to connect with government and industry, thank you to the Pilbara Development Commission and Informa for again hosting this event.
