Meet the Speaker – Women of the Pilbara Forum 2025
Join us at the Women of the Pilbara Forum to hear from Patrycja Rosinska, Community and Place Specialist, Town Team Movement.
We asked Patrycja a few questions to help you get to know her before the event:
I lived in the Pilbara – between Port Hedland and Karratha – for over three years, and even though I moved back to Perth in 2022, I keep coming back like a boomerang! From my time as Acting CEO of a regional arts organisation to the community and placemaking programs I now lead across the region, the Pilbara continues to call me back. The red dirt really got into my skin – and my heart.
The Pilbara holds a truly special place in my heart. Living and working here changed me – it grounded me, inspired me, and shaped the way I see community. There’s something magical about the landscape and the deep cultural richness of the region, but what really makes the Pilbara extraordinary is its people. The resilience, generosity, and drive of local communities, leaders, and organisations is nothing short of inspiring. They are the heart of this place. And I believe these communities deserve better, they shouldn’t be disadvantaged in any way. That’s what drives me: to play my small part in supporting and celebrating these amazing communities, and to help create places that are vibrant, connected, and full of pride.
It’s a real privilege to be part of Women of the Pilbara 2025. I’m so excited to connect with and learn from the incredible women who are the heart and soul of this region – amazing community and business leaders, many of whom wear multiple hats, lead with purpose, and often go unrecognised. This forum is a powerful platform to shine a light on their stories, celebrate their impact, and strengthen the network of women making a difference in the Pilbara and beyond.
Save the Date 15th-16th October at the Women of the Pilbara Forum, Hedland Hotel – Port Hedland.
