The PHCCI team have been out across Hedland catching up with members this week.
First stop was the Hedland Maritime Initiative office who recently announced an extension to the voluntary buy back scheme for the West End to December 2025. An HMI-acquired property is the home to a new Marine Simulation Facility. Pilbara Ports partnered with North Regional TAFE to relocate simulator equipment from its Broome campus to the new Port Hedland facility, including a replica ship bridge. Next stop was to see the team at Provedore Cafe. They are open 7 days from 5am – 3pm with a delicious range of freshly made ready to go food and menu options. Provedore is also available for private function hire for Christmas parties, weddings and birthdays and fully licensed. Catering is also available.
