We asked Caitlin three key questions in the lead-up to the Forum:
How long have you been in the Pilbara for?I’m a Pilbara girl, born and raised in Port Hedland, that’s 37 years of loving the land of the gold dust.
Where does your passion for the Pilbara come from? Tell us what drives you to do what you do.It’s not so much a passion for me, but a life style and way of life that I’ve been able to share with my family and for the past 10 years raise my own family in. Growing up here with the open space and freedom helped shape me as a person and ground me to my values.
I’ve watched my parents work tirelessly day in and day out, make sacrifices and strive towards what success meant to them. Being brought up with this as a foundation gives me the drive and determination to do what I do every day, to lead the legacy of my family business, create a future for my children and show that women can achieve without limits.
Tell us why you are excited to be a part of Women of the Pilbara 2025?I’ve been in the Mining and Construction Industry for 20 years and leading a business for the past 15 years. I’ve watched the industry evolve since I was 17 and it’s been an incredible journey to live and watch. I am honoured to be able to share my own experiences, achievements and create inspirational pathways for women of the Pilbara and beyond.
