Speaker Spotlight – Women of the Pilbara Forum 2025 We’re excited to welcome Rachel Donkin, BHP Western Australia – Manager Community WA, to the Women of the Pilbara Forum 2025.
In the lead up to the event we asked Rachel a few questions.
How long have you been in the Pilbara?I’ve been working between the Pilbara and Perth for the past 8 years since I joined BHP, in various roles including my current role managing BHP’s Community engagement portfolio in WA
Where does your passion for the Pilbara come from? Tell us what drives you to do what you do.I love the natural beauty of the Pilbara and the stories of the country’s history as told by the Traditional Custodians. BHP is a guest on this country and we can achieve more when we walk together with the community.
Why are you excited to be part of Women of the Pilbara 2025?I’m excited to hear from the lived experiences of the Pilbara’s emerging and future leaders.
We’re looking forward to hearing from Rachel as she shares her insights and experience with fellow women across the Pilbara.
