📍 How long have you been in the Pilbara?
I have called the Pilbara home for 2 and a half years now.
🔥 Where does your passion for the Pilbara come from? Tell us what drives you to do what you do.
My passion for the Pilbara comes from its diversity—the incredible range of landscapes, the richness of culture, and most importantly, the people. What truly drives me is the small businesses that keep this region alive and thriving. In a place where it’s easy to be overshadowed by big industry, I’ve found purpose in supporting small, local operators. Helping them shine and feel seen is at the heart of what I do, because without them, the Pilbara wouldn’t be what it is.
🌸 Why are you excited to be part of Women of the Pilbara 2025?
I’m excited for this event because it’s a powerful opportunity for women in the Pilbara to be seen and heard finally. In a region where the population and often the spotlight, is dominated by men, it can feel isolating. As women, we often have to work twice as hard just to have our voices recognised. This event gives us a space to celebrate our achievements, amplify our impact, and support one another. It’s more than just a forum…it’s a movement, and I’m proud to be part of it.
