Thank you to the team at PLS (formerly Pilbara Minerals) for hosting Wednesday night’s sold-out Business After Hours at the Hedland Hotel.
Our members were eager to hear the latest updates on PLS’ operation. We gained valuable insights into the Pilgangoora Operation, one of the world’s largest independent hard rock lithium operations, located approximately 140km south of Port Hedland.
We also heard about PLS’ foundational role in the Lumsden Point port expansion, which is set to further support the export of battery materials from the Pilbara and strengthen Hedland’s role in the global critical minerals sector. The development will ensure PLS has the capacity to increase production volume when market condition support.
The PLS Community Team was also in attendance, sharing information about how local organisations can apply for support through their annual Community Grants Program which officially opened for application on the night. This initiative focuses on creating long-term value in the communities where they operate.
Thank you once again to the PLS team for your continued engagement with the Hedland business community.
Fantastic to see 31 businesses in attendance.
A massive thankyou to the Hedland Hotel, for your hospitality, seamless service and delicious canapés. Photography credit to Charismatic Photography.
