How long have you been in the Pilbara?Sharon came to the Pilbara at 11 years old, coming home with her father who was taken to the mission as a young child, removed from his mother, part of the stolen generation.
Where does your passion for the Pilbara come from? Tell us what drives you to do what you do.Sharon’s passion comes from her values, vision and goals and her biggest motivator – her family. The passion for the Pilbara is history, connection, colours and grounding – hopefully making small influences to make it a better place for all.
Why are you excited to be part of Women of the Pilbara 2025?Building relationships, understanding, knowledge and connection is important for the future preservation and reteaching of our shared history.
