PHCCI Celebrates Women and Mothers at Women in Business Luncheon

Last Friday’s Women in Business Luncheon was an empowering event celebrating Mother’s Day with the theme “Navigating Motherhood and Business.” Guests were treated to inspiring stories from two incredible women who embody strength and resilience.

Psychologist Melissa Knaggs from Melissa Knaggs Psychology , shared her personal journey into motherhood, shedding light on the identity shifts that come with becoming a parent. Her insights into breaking societal expectations, embracing imperfection, and reducing the mental load.

Annabelle Coppin of Outback Beef followed with a moving reflection on growing up on Yarrie Station and what it’s like to run a cattle station while also navigating motherhood. Her story was filled with honesty, humour, and a deep connection to country life

A huge thank you to both Melissa and Annabelle for their candour and vulnerability – your stories hit home for many. It was fabulous to see new faces and have 27 local businesses represented.
We also extend a massive thank you to our Luncheon Series sponsors, the Local Buying Foundation and Gateway Village, for their continued support and hospitality.
Compliments to the chef for the delicious buffet lunch!
