Lastly, the girls visited the Port Hedland Seafarers Centre, where they enjoyed a warm and welcoming catch up with the lovely Jenny. The Centre plays a vital role in supporting the pastoral, practical, and spiritual welfare of seafarers from all nationalities and faiths. In addition to this important mission, the Centre also extends a warm welcome to tourists and the local Port Hedland community. Visitors can explore a wide selection of Australian-made products and enjoy the hospitality of friendly staff who are always available to assist with any enquiries. During the winter months, the Centre also operates a highly regarded Harbour Tour, offered daily and showcasing the unique maritime activity of the region.
