📍 Lastly – Hedland Maritime Initiative ⚓
Michelle & Jenni popped in to catch up with the team at Hedland Maritime Initiative (HMI) is a wholly- owned subsidiary of Pilbara Ports, a Government Trading Enterprise, and was established to implement and administer the Western Australian Government’s Port Hedland Voluntary Buy-Back Scheme (PHVBS) which concluded at the end of 2025. HMI continues to manage acquired properties within Port Hedland’s West End, support redevelopment planning and land stewardship activities, and work with government, industry and community stakeholders to facilitate the long-term transition and redevelopment of the West End precinct.
We appreciated the opportunity to catch up with the team and hear what’s happening with HMI.
