Scott and Tina ventured out to Pilgangoora lithium mine owned and operated by PLS .With over 40 VIP’s including stakeholders , investors, financiers and media from across the Country attending. The group was treated to a complete site tour from the Pitt operation, crushing, sorting through to production.
The 100% owned flagship Pilgangoora Operation is located 140km from Port Hedland in Western Australia’s resource rich Pilbara region on Nyamal and Kariyarra Country. The Pilgangoora ore body is one of the largest hard rock lithium deposits in the world and produces approximately 8% of global lithium supply1.
Located in one of the world’s premier mining jurisdictions, the Pilgangoora Operation has access to first-class supporting infrastructure, including roads and port, and is underpinned by strong environmental and safety regulations, and social standards.
Spodumene concentrate from the Pilgangoora Operation is shipped from Port Hedland, the world’s largest bulk export port, to leading lithium chemical converters primarily in China. A further expansion is currently underway in line with our strategy to unlock the full potential of the asset.
