We asked Daiva three key questions in the lead-up to the Forum:
How long have you been in the Pilbara for?I’ve lived in the Pilbara for 19 years, in Port Hedland, Wickham and Karratha with my hubby Mick and our teenagers, Matilda and William. Born at the old Nickol Bay hospital, they are super lucky to be growing up as Pilbara kids.
Where does your passion for the Pilbara come from? Tell us what drives you to do what you do.The Pilbara has such a vibrant, inclusive, and welcoming community – friends quickly become family, and your neighbours are part of the village that raise your kids. We’re a community where people freely show up for one another – and our towns should absolutely have the infrastructure, services, and connectivity needed for people to be proud to call the Pilbara home.
