We asked Tina our signature three questions ahead of the Forum:
How long have you been in the Pilbara?I have lived in the Pilbara for just on 7 years this time around, but my connection to the region goes much deeper. I spent four years as a child and returned for another two years in my early twenties. Altogether the Pilbara has shaped over a decade of my life, and it continues to be a place I proudly call home.
Where does your passion for the Pilbara come from? Tell us what drives you to do what you do.My passion for the Pilbara is rooted in its people and the strength of its communities. There’s a resilience and warmth here that’s unlike anywhere else I’ve lived – its in the way people show up for one another, the pride and shared determination to make this region thrive.
I’m driven by the opportunity to support communities in fostering a sense of belonging, connection, and inclusiveness.
Improving the liveability of our region is at the heart of what I do. That means championing opportunities for growth, advocating for services and support, and helping to build communities where people not only want to stay, but where they truly succeed.
Why are you excited to be part of Women of the Pilbara 2025?Being a part of the Women of the Pilbara Forum is incredibly exciting as it celebrates the voices, stories, and achievement of women who contribute to making this region thrive. It’s a chance to connect, inspire, and learn from one another.
