Sarah Whelan is the Chief Executive Officer of the Karratha & Districts Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KDCCI), bringing a wealth of experience across sales, marketing, and commercial strategy in New Zealand, Australia, and Canada. With a background spanning publishing, financial services, software development, and major infrastructure and resource projects, Sarah has built a career on driving growth and innovation in diverse environments.
Now based in the Pilbara, Sarah is passionate about supporting local businesses, advocating for regional development, and building stronger connections across the community. Her global perspective, paired with her practical leadership style, positions her as a strong voice for business in the North West. Through her work at KDCCI and the Pilbara Chambers Alliance, she’s committed to empowering local enterprise and helping shape a sustainable, inclusive future for the region.
